Hilfenhaus to miss second Test due to tendonitis -Ultralieve ProA recurring tendonitis problem has ruled fast bowler Ben Hilfenhaus out of Australia's second Test match with the West Indies this week.

The 26-year-old cricketer will not be able to play in Adelaide on Thursday (December 3rd), team physiotherapist Alex Kountouris confirmed.

Hilfenhaus was named man of the match in the first Test in Brisbane after finishing with five wickets for 70 runs.

"Ben has had a widely-reported knee tendon injury that was sore during the recent ODI series in India and the first Test at the Gabba," Kountouris told reporters.

"It's been decided that the best course of action is for him to miss the Adelaide Test."

According to the physiotherapist, Australia hope to have Hilfenhaus back in action for the third match of the Test series in Perth later this month.

The Tasmania Tigers player was the leading wicket-taker in the 2009 Ashes series, finishing with 22 at an average of 27.45.
